For Foundation Homes clients, interior design isn’t an afterthought bolted on once the build is finished – it’s part of the same conversation from the first concept sketch.
Most builders hand you the keys and wish you luck with the fit-out. We take a different view. Because we self-perform the majority of our own site work – earthmoving, formwork, pool construction, scaffolding – our team already controls far more of your build than a typical contractor does. Bringing interior design in-house is a natural extension of that: the same attention to detail that goes into your structural work now carries through to the spaces you’ll actually live in.
We work with you from early design through to final selections – joinery, lighting, finishes, furniture and styling – so the interior of your home is resolved alongside the architecture, not layered on top of it after the fact. The result is a home where the design intent survives contact with the build, because the same team is responsible for both.
How it works
- Design brief – we sit down early, usually alongside your architectural planning, to understand how you want to live in the finished home.
- Concept & selections – room-by-room concepts, finishes and furniture selections, costed and scheduled against your build program.
- Build & fit-out – because we’re also your builder, interior decisions are coordinated with construction in real time, not retrofitted at the end.
- Styling & handover – a finished home that’s ready to live in, not just ready to move into.
